Privacy statement
Steuber Design, based in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 09162322, processes personal data solely to stay in touch with you. This statement explains which data that is and why.
What data we process
- Contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message. This data is delivered by email to info@steuberdesign.nl and is only used to respond to your message. It is not used for marketing and not shared with third parties.
- IP address: when you submit the form, your IP address is stored briefly to prevent abuse and spam. This data is deleted automatically after 24 hours at the latest.
- reCAPTCHA: to protect against spam, the contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA. Google processes data about your visit; the Google privacy policy and terms of service apply.
Cookies and local storage
This website uses no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies. That is also why you see no cookie banner here: one is only required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. What is stored on your device:
- Language preference: your language choice (NL/EN/DE) is stored locally in your browser so the site stays in your language. This is purely functional; the information never leaves your device.
- reCAPTCHA: when you use the contact form, Google may set cookies via reCAPTCHA for spam protection. This technology is only loaded the moment you fill in the form.
We never sell or rent data to third parties.
Retention period
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed for our contact or a possible collaboration, and after that for a maximum of two years.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data. Send a message to info@steuberdesign.nl. If you believe we handle your data carelessly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
General terms and conditions
1. Identity
Steuber Design, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) Arnhem 09162322, VAT NL 1015.77.436.B01, reachable via info@steuberdesign.nl.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to all quotes, work and agreements of Steuber Design, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Arrangements for profit-sharing partnerships are always laid down in a separate, signed agreement; those arrangements take precedence over these terms.
3. Quotes and rates
Quotes are without obligation and valid for 30 days. Amounts are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional work outside the agreed scope is discussed in advance and quoted separately.
4. Execution
Steuber Design carries out assignments to the best of its knowledge and craftsmanship. Stated deadlines are indicative; exceeding them does not entitle the client to compensation. The client ensures timely delivery of the required information and materials.
5. Intellectual property
After full payment, the client receives the usage rights to the delivered work. Source code is handed over clean and documented as agreed. Steuber Design may show delivered work in its own portfolio, unless agreed otherwise.
6. Payment
Invoices are paid within 14 days of the invoice date. In case of late payment, Steuber Design may suspend work after a written reminder.
7. Liability
The liability of Steuber Design is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment and never extends to indirect damage such as lost profit or missed savings, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
8. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are first resolved in consultation; if that fails, they are submitted to the competent court.
